Sounds like really good value. I think the UK self catering holidays offer the best in terms of value and the locations are lovely. There are not many places you can stay with 6 people for under £100 per night.

We are camping for our fistt time 27/28/29 july and wondered do we have to book the pitches as there will be 3 tents all under 6x4 metres

Stayed at Croft May 2011, camping. Got the wettest rain ever on our first night, so moved into a caravan. Staff were very helpful - at such short notice they got a caravan ready and offered us a great deal. We're back this year!

We have stayed here the last 2 years-with kids and a few times before kids! Our girls had a fantastic time with a rope swing that one of the other parents had put up, and playing in the stream. Great little family campsite with great facilities, serious contender for this years holiday!! Our eldest made some great friends on site, and was in tears before we got out of the village coming home, saying she'll miss every one!! Thank you.

You are best using the standard tent pegs as the pitch are grassy and firm. Hope this helps. :)

We are booked on the touring site 5th-6th Aug. Do you get very busy at that time as we will only be leaving Lancashire at 2.30pm. Will we be losing out on the best pitches?

We have a large tent needing Pitch Size 665cm x 750cm, would you be able to accommodate us?
